She ensures that projects progress in a timely manner and within budget by having financial reports done with frequency and accuracy.

Roman manages and maintains a team of focused, hardworking, and professional construction experts with a solid technical background and strong work ethic. Originally from Colombia where he studied Industrial Engineering and worked in his family business as a professional set designer, where he built sets with high regard for both aesthetics and functionality for some of the most prestigious TV channels in the country.
Roman has been involved in the construction industry for over two decades with a wide variety of residential and commercial building projects. Adept at coordinating with building and engineering professionals for every project stage. He is a strong multi-tasker with the exceptional skill of performing well in a high-pressure and fast-paced work environment.

Christian is a hands-on professional with over 20 years of experience in architecture and construction, joining our team in early 2015. He has worked across all facets of the industry—as a lead architectural designer, project manager, and construction manager—delivering projects on time and within budget.
Known for his precision, organization, and attention to detail, Christian excels at leading teams of subcontractors, architects, and engineers to achieve exceptional design and construction quality. His portfolio includes work for international corporations such as Gillette, Kraft Foods, and Newell Sanford, as well as award-winning projects like the Patrick F. Taylor Science and Technology Regional Academy and the Sanchez Community Center.

She has 27 years of sales experience including: clients relations, customer service, client management, project management and construction manager. Robin works great in teams and handles tight deadlines and budgets excellently.
she has a strong background and education in fine arts & marketing, which has incorporated into her own style and developed a keen eye to detail and followed her throughout her career.
Robin is highly organized and detail oriented, while working well under pressure.

David has over 20 years’ experience in the Commercial and Maritime construction fields. He is a very hands-on leader, who has worked his way up from the field to a leadership role. He is highly adaptable and can handle any project thrown his way. Having a firm belief in attention to details, as does Colmex Construction, David plays a key role in our organization. Our team David can deliver an outstanding product even under tight deadlines. As the program coordinator, Liliana oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of our organization's programs to ensure the successful implementation and alignment with organizational goals and objectives. Her 5+ years of experience in the industry have helped her develop creativeness, resourcefulness, adaptability and communication skills.

Steven began his construction career working in the field after school and during summers. He started as a framing and interior trim carpenter for a residential company, where he discovered his passion for the trade. After graduating from high school in 1987, Steven decided to attend trade school to further his skills.
After completing trade school, he spent eight years focusing on residential construction. He then transitioned into the commercial side, working with a local contractor in New Orleans. Over the next 24 years, Steven gained extensive experience in every phase of construction, from the first pile driven to the final punch out. For the past three years, Steven has been focusing on building Fortified Gold and Energy Star Homes

Dee Hitchens
Dee is an administrative and operational professional who gained skills from both military and real estate experience. Born and raised in New Orleans, she began her career by joining the United States Air Force. Dee is a twice-served combat veteran, where she developed leadership and team work experience. Those experiences have taught her a unique set of skills such as adaptability and discipline. After Dee's military service, she transitioned into real estate development. She returned home where she applied her operational expertise to projects that contributed to the growth and revitalization of her hometown. She holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Post-Master’s Certificate in Project Management, further reinforcing her ability to lead complex projects with precision and purpose.

Jamal is a results-driven construction professional with a B.S. in Industrial Technology from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. During his time there, he was honored with the highest academic scholarship in the Department of Engineering, awarded by the Acadiana Home Builders Association.
With hands-on experience supporting commercial construction projects from bid through completion, Jamal specializes in estimating, scheduling, and field coordination. He has contributed to successful outcomes in both office and field roles and is known for being dependable, adaptable, and team-oriented. He brings a strong focus on communication, safety, and quality to every project.
Outside of work, Jamal has volunteered over 250 hours with Habitat for Humanity and is a former Ragin’ Cajuns football player. He’s always open to connecting with others in the construction and project management community.
